No Argentine chamber group has had such a sustained, regular and brilliant existence as the Camerata Bariloche, which can proudly show a luxurious international career enriched by a gratifying artistic success. Created in 1967, its first conductor was Alberto Lysy, who was succeeded by Ruben Gonzalez and Elias Khayat. Since 1992 the musical director is Fernando Hasaj.

The group is composed of almost twenty musicians, selected from the best in Argentina. Its artistic background is made up of no less than 2,500 concerts and some thirty recordings. The Camerata Bariloche, 40 years after its creation, is internationally positioned at a level unmet by any other national orchestra of its kind.
